My top 7 must have dog stuff recommendations!

As a crazy dog lady, I love dog stuff! Accessories for me, for the dogs, or home products.

So I thought I would share my top 7 must-have dog stuff recommendations I have brought.

1 – Portable Dog Shower

Have you seen these portable dog wash containers? I love mine! It is always in the van, ready for dirty, sandy dogs but also great for muddy boots.

It is not just great for on the go but great for home use too, if you need to wash your dog but don’t want a wet dog in the house, this is the pawfect solution without needing a plumber.

Other friends also report great for washing down bikes, pushchairs, windows, and generally anything!

I have the Mud Daddy and my bug bare with it was that you have to pump it up, it wasn’t enough of one that I didn’t use it but was annoying.

2 – Dog Brushes

Particularly at this time of the year my gang are shedding everywhere so a daily brush is needed in between their regular trip to the groomers. I love the Furminator range, these get all the dull undercoat out that fill every corner of my house if I miss a daily brush, And I also use the pet teezer for the fluffy collies and the spaniel’s ears, it really is detangling, but I also brought a none branded hooman detangling brush from the pound shop and this works just as well.

3 – Dog design jumper

from Emma Warren designs. A cute design, and a quality comfy jumper, what more can I say I love it, hint hint if anyone ones to buy me a present, there are more designs I would like. Also available as a t-shirt and canvas bag at the time of writing.

4 – Children’s card game personalised to your dog

Just like the game dobble but with dog items and your dog’s face! I love this Barkboozle game from yappy.com. The kids and adults I played with both loved this game, its like snap but harder as there is more than one picture on each card that could match with the active card, great fun and even more fun with your dog’s on the game.

5 – My current favourite dog books

I love the positive dog training and game-based training book from Niki French, Stop Walking Your Dog, it combines real-life training stories with game suggestions. It can help prepare you and your dog for situations including nervous or stressed dogs, or new puppies, but honestly is a must-read for all dog owners even without these issues currently, grab your copy here

Also, I have been reading The Forever Dog book by Karen Shaw Becker and Rodney Habib, if you follow me you might have seen I try to feed my dogs a healthy, natural diet and limit their consumption of chemicals. It is a really interesting and in-depth read,

6 – Whose dog doesn’t need a new collar?

I love the collars from Leo, Charley and Me, they are handmade in Stafford by Kim, and a donation from every sale is made to SAUK. There are fun, funky, and cute designs for collars and accessories.
