I love taking my dogs on holiday with me, they are of course my family, but yes it is difficult deciding where to go and where to stay, dog friendly to some doesn’t mean the same to others!!

So I am going to share some of the places I’ve stayed at, but I would love to hear your recommendations too

Cranford Let, Benllech, Anglesea

This was my 40th birthday getaway/celebration!!! I know yes I’m still 26 really!! But we had a great time, 8 dogs, 4 humans.

Amazing house, lots of space, very dog-friendly, off-road parking, baby gates installed, settee throws provided, chest freezer in attached garage for us raw feeders, lots of dog beds/toys and accessories to use while we were there

Great garden with a separate games room (not for the dogs) but if you have kids to entertain!! I loved the Pacman game! In the garden are a few agility jumps, lots of dog toys to have fun with, and an outside hose 😉

But most importantly close to amazing beaches!!! I recommend going to Newborough beach you do have to pay to enter and park, but I don’t mind that as they are doing amazing work. Plus the payoff is fab we walked down the beach and back up through the forest!!

Also, there is a lovely dog-friendly pub that is a 5 min walk from this house, we had a great night out there!!

Oskada Park Campsite

Wow, I am not a fan of camping tbh!!! But this site was fab!!!! Once you are in the second gate you are in an enclosed area (other than new ppl coming in the gate) so your dogs can be off lead around the campsite.

There is an agility bit to have fun in, a stream to play in, and a clubhouse that is dog-friendly too!!

The on-site friendly pooch, Gem, comes to say hello daily,

They have recent;y added a glamping pod, that looks amazing, only 2 dogs allowed though

Brecfa Forest Barns, in the heart of rural Carmarthenshire

Lovely cottage but I wasn’t a fan of the low height chicken wire fences but this is my personal opinion, because of my dogs, it was still a lovely holiday

The pine tree forest just up the road is beautiful, and lots of lovely walks.

And lots of beaches close by. The cottage was well equipped, cozy, and very friendly

Fun House, Kendal

This is a great place for a weekend away, although a very small outdoor area space, if like us this is just a needed for the dog early morning and late-night wee, it’s fine!!

Close to Windermere for a lovely walk around the reservoir.

The house was lovely with a log burner and an indoor slide! Perfect for kids or big kids like me!!
