At Friends and Canines, we believe in being as natural as possible: Natural treats, whole fresh foods, and natural treatments.
This is no vet bashing. We love our vets Neil and Kay, and they are definitely needed in our pets’ lives.
But…. we do believe we are over-vaccinating and overusing antibiotics both in ourselves and our pets. So, we do lean towards natural treatments.
For many years I have been using zoopharmacology and recently started studying relaxation through meditation for dogs and essential oils for dogs.
Another favourite product of ours is colloidal silver. Again we use it on ourselves, as well as the dogs.

And yes you can get cheaper versions But what quality are they? What size are the silver particles? Yes, this does matter!! They need to be small enough to be absorbed by the body Is it safe? Can you guarantee the quality and strength?
Where has it been made? What are the standards in there?
